Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from our website, you agree to the terms applicable to your order. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights you may have as a consumer

2. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Resin & Beyond Studio website. By placing an order, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to read these terms and understand the conditions applicable to your purchase. If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not place an order through our website.
These terms should be read alongside our:
- Shipping & Delivery Policy.
- Returns & Refunds Policy.
- Privacy Policy.
- Legal Notice.
- Relevant product descriptions and personalisation instructions.
If a provision in these terms conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the applicable legal requirement will take precedence. Nothing in these terms removes or restricts any statutory rights you may have.
3. Our Products
Resin & Beyond Studio sells handmade resin creations and decorative items.
Our products may include:
- Resin dragons and fantasy ornaments.
- Decorative figurines and sculptures.
- Trinket trays and decorative dishes.
- Resin jars and decorative accessories.
- Bookmarks and other small resin creations.
- Butterflies, skulls, bears and other decorative ornaments.
- Personalised resin hearts and memorial keepsakes.
- Other handmade resin products introduced to our shop.
Products available for purchase will be displayed in the relevant product listings. Product availability may vary depending on stock levels, materials, production time and seasonal demand.
We reserve the right to introduce new products, discontinue products or update our range. Any change will not remove rights relating to an order we have already agreed to fulfil.
4. Handmade Products and Natural Variations
Every handmade resin creation is individually produced. As a result, no two pieces are guaranteed to be completely identical.
Minor variations may occur in:
- Colour, shade and colour distribution.
- Glitter placement and concentration.
- Pigment patterns and decorative swirls.
- Decorative inclusions.
- Surface appearance.
- Small details arising from the handmade production process.
These variations are a natural characteristic of handmade products.
Product photographs are provided to give customers a reasonable representation of the items available. Colours and details may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product photographs and descriptions are accurate.
However, handmade variations do not excuse a genuine fault or a failure to supply goods that conform to the contract. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
6. Colour Choices and Customisation
Some products are available in a choice of colours, colour combinations or decorative finishes. Available options and instructions for selecting a colour will be explained in the relevant product listing.
For personalised or made-to-order products, customers must provide their requested details accurately and follow the instructions provided.
Depending on the product, this may include:
- A chosen colour or colour combination.
- A name or personalised wording.
- A date or short message.
- A photograph or other permitted personalisation material.
- Other details expressly offered in the product listing.
We will make reasonable efforts to follow the agreed personalisation instructions.
However, we cannot guarantee an exact reproduction of a colour reference, photograph, or design because resin, pigments, lighting, and the handmade production process may affect the final appearance.
If you require clarification about a colour or design before ordering, please contact us.
7. Personalised and Made-to-Order Products
Some products are made or customised specifically for an individual customer after an order has been placed. This may include products featuring selected colours, names, dates, messages, photographs or other personal details.
Customers are responsible for checking the accuracy of the information they provide, including spelling, dates and personalisation instructions.
If you notice an error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once production has started.
If a change is possible, any additional cost or revised production timeframe will be discussed with you before the change is agreed.
Personalised products will be made according to the details agreed with the customer.
However, personalisation does not remove your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly personalised or otherwise fails to conform to the contract.
Cancellation rights for personalised and made-to-order products are explained in our separate Returns & Refunds Policy. An item being made to order does not automatically mean it is exempt from cancellation rights.
8. Photographs and Memorial Keepsakes
Some of our products may incorporate customer-supplied photographs, pet photographs, names, dates, paw-print designs or personal messages. Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights or permissions to provide the material for use in their order.
Please ensure that:
- Photographs are suitable for the requested design.
- Names, dates and messages are accurate.
- Personalisation requests follow the relevant product listing.
- Any applicable word or character limits are observed
We cannot guarantee that every photograph will reproduce perfectly in a resin keepsake, particularly where the original image is blurry, dark, low-resolution or otherwise unsuitable. If submitted material cannot reasonably be used as requested, we may contact you to discuss an alternative before proceeding.
We will handle customer-supplied photographs and personalisation details in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
9. Placing an Order
Customers must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order. This includes a valid email address, delivery details and any product-specific personalisation information requested during checkout.
Please check your order carefully before completing payment.
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products under the applicable terms. An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
Acceptance will be communicated through our order process, such as an
appropriate order confirmation.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and arrange any refund due for payments already taken for products we cannot supply.
We may decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including a genuine pricing error, unavailable materials, suspected fraudulent activity or an inability to fulfil the order.
We will not use this provision to avoid our legal obligations to customers.
10. Prices and Payment
Prices will be displayed on the relevant product listings and at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). Any applicable postage or delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We aim to ensure that all prices are accurate. If a genuine pricing error is identified, we will contact you before proceeding at the incorrect price, where appropriate.
Payment must be completed using the payment methods available at checkout. Payments may be processed securely by our online shop platform or its designated payment service providers.
We do not have access to customers' full payment card details where those details are handled by the relevant payment provider.
Orders will normally be processed once payment has been successfully authorised or received. We will not knowingly charge a customer more than the price and applicable charges agreed at checkout.
11. Order Processing and Production Times
Processing times vary depending on the product and whether it is ready-made or requires production after purchase. Resin creations require appropriate curing time before they can be finished, inspected and prepared for dispatch or collection.
Where a product is made to order, the relevant product listing or our communication with you will explain the expected production timeframe wherever reasonably possible.
Production and dispatch estimates are provided as a guide unless a specific date has been expressly agreed.
We will make reasonable efforts to meet the stated timeframe and will contact you if a significant delay arises. Estimated production times do not permit us to delay an order indefinitely or override any applicable consumer rights.
12. Shipping, Delivery and Local Collection
We offer postal delivery and a free local collection option for eligible customers. Available delivery options, charges and estimated dispatch times will be displayed on our website or explained in our separate Shipping & Delivery Policy.
12.1 Postal Delivery
Orders selected for postal delivery will be dispatched using the delivery service available at checkout. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays or disruption to delivery services.
If an order is delayed, lost or appears to have been delivered incorrectly, please contact us within 24 hours so that we can investigate.
We remain responsible for fulfilling our legal obligations concerning delivery, including where goods are lost or damaged before they reach the customer.
Unless an applicable legal exception applies, responsibility for goods remains with us until the goods come into the physical possession of the customer or a person identified by the customer to receive them.
12.2 Free Local Collection
Resin & Beyond Studio offers free local collection exclusively to customers who reside in the following areas of Lancaster, Lancashire, United Kingdom:
- Skerton.
- Mount Avenue.
- Beaumont.
- Slyne Road areas.
Local collection is available to eligible residents of these specified areas only. It is not available to customers who live outside the eligible areas. This service is for collection only. It is not a local delivery service.
Customers wishing to use local collection should select the appropriate collection option at checkout, where available, or contact us before placing an order to confirm eligibility and arrange collection.
We reserve the right to request reasonable confirmation that a customer resides within an eligible area where necessary to establish eligibility.
12.3 Collection Arrangements and Address
Once an order has been placed and local collection eligibility has been confirmed, we will contact the customer to arrange a suitable collection date and time. The full collection address will be provided privately to the customer when the collection arrangements are confirmed.
Our full residential collection address will not be displayed on our public website.
Customers must wait for confirmation of their collection arrangements before attending to collect an order. If a customer cannot attend at the agreed time, they should contact us as soon as possible to arrange an alternative. Customers should follow any reasonable collection instructions provided and ensure they collect the correct order.
12.4 Collection Charges
Local collection is free of charge for eligible customers. No postage or delivery fee applies when an order is placed for local collection.
Customers who are not eligible for local collection, or who prefer postal delivery, must select an available postal delivery option and pay the applicable charge displayed at checkout, unless free postage is expressly offered for that order.
12.5 Collection and Consumer Rights
Choosing local collection does not affect a customer's statutory rights regarding cancellations, refunds, faulty or damaged goods, or any other rights provided by applicable consumer law.
If a customer experiences a problem with an order collected in person, they should contact us using the business contact details provided on our website. Further information about postal delivery, dispatch times and delivery issues is available in our separate Shipping & Delivery Policy.
13. Risk of Loss or Damage in Transit
We take reasonable care when preparing and packaging orders for dispatch. However, products may occasionally be damaged during transportation.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us promptly and provide clear photographs of the packaging and affected item where possible. This information helps us investigate the problem and determine the appropriate resolution.
We will not use packaging requirements or reporting requests to remove any statutory rights you may have. We remain responsible for addressing issues for which we are legally responsible, including goods damaged before delivery to you.
14. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Our separate Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to request a return, refund or cancellation. Please consult our separate Returns & Refunds Policy for the full procedure.
Different rules may apply depending on whether a product is:
- A standard, non-personalised item.
- A personalised item made to the customer’s specifications.
- A made-to-order item.
- A faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied product.
Where the law provides a cancellation right, we will respect that right. However, certain genuinely personalised or custom-made goods may be exempt from the usual statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. Whether this exemption applies depends on the nature of the
product and the circumstances of the order. An item being made to order does not automatically mean that it is exempt from cancellation rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes your rights in relation to faulty goods, goods that do not conform to the contract or other remedies available under applicable law.
15. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
We want customers to receive products that match their order and the description provided.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from the agreed description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Please include your order number and, where helpful,
photographs of the issue. We will assess the problem and explain the next steps. Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.
We will not use a handmade variation as an excuse for a genuine fault or a failure to meet the agreed description.
Any rights available under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable legislation remain unaffected.
16. Complimentary Gifts
From time to time, we may include a complimentary pocket heart or another small gift with an order. Where offered, the gift is provided free of charge and is not sold as a separate product. Unless a particular colour or design has expressly been promised, complimentary gifts are selected at random and will vary between orders.
Complimentary gifts are subject to availability. They cannot be exchanged for cash or used to claim a monetary discount unless we expressly state otherwise.
Including a complimentary gift does not reduce any statutory rights relating to the products purchased.
17. Product Safety, Intended Use and Care
Our resin creations are generally intended for decorative use unless a product listing expressly states otherwise. Customers must follow any product-specific care and safety instructions supplied with their purchase.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, our decorative resin products are not intended to be:
- Used as toys.
- Chewed, swallowed or placed in the mouth.
- Used as food-contact items or for food preparation.
- Used in a microwave, oven or dishwasher.
- Exposed to excessive heat or naked flames.
- Used for purposes other than those described in the relevant product listing.
Resin products may be damaged by heat, impact, unsuitable cleaning products or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Clean decorative items gently with a soft cloth unless different care instructions are provided.
Keep small decorative objects and detachable parts away from young children and pets where they could present a choking or other safety risk. Do not use an item if it is damaged in a way that could make it unsafe.
Any specific warnings or restrictions supplied with a product take priority where they are more relevant to that item.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for a product that is unsafe or fails to meet applicable legal requirements.
18. Intellectual Property and Product Photography
Unless otherwise stated, the photographs, product images, original designs, branding, logo, written content and other creative materials published by Resin & Beyond Studio belong to us or are used with appropriate permission.
These materials must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used commercially without the relevant permission, except where permitted by law.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of our copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Customers may share photographs of products they have purchased for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided they do not misrepresent the work or claim our original photographs or designs as their own.
If you would like to use our photographs or designs commercially, please contact us for permission.
19. Customer-Supplied Content
Customers may submit names, messages, photographs and other information to personalise their orders. Customers remain responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to supply that material.
We reserve the right to refuse a personalisation request where it is unlawful, infringes another person's rights or is otherwise inappropriate for us to produce.
We will use submitted content only as reasonably necessary to fulfil the order, communicate with the customer, resolve issues or meet our legal obligations, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We do not claim ownership of a customer's personal photographs simply because they have been supplied for a keepsake.
20. Website Availability and Accuracy
We aim to keep our website accurate, accessible and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical errors.
Occasional maintenance, technical problems or interruptions affecting our website platform or third-party services may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to correct errors and restore access where possible.
Nothing in this section affects an order we have already agreed to fulfil or any legal obligations arising from a purchase.
21. Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party services to provide online shop functionality, process payments, support delivery arrangements or perform other necessary business functions. These services may include our online shop platform, payment processors and delivery companies.
Third-party services may operate under their own terms, privacy notices and policies.
We are not responsible for the independent operation of third-party websites or services, except to the extent that applicable law makes us responsible for their acts or omissions.
Our use of third-party services does not remove our obligations to customers under these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.
Information about how personal data is handled is provided in our Privacy Policy.
22. Personal Information and Privacy
We collect and use personal information where necessary to process orders, communicate with customers, arrange delivery, provide customer support and meet our legal obligations.
Personal information may include names, delivery addresses, email addresses, order information and personalisation details supplied by customers.
Payment information may be handled by the relevant payment service provider.
Our website platform may also use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with its functionality and applicable law.
Further information about the personal information we collect, how we use it, our lawful bases for processing and customers' data protection rights is available in our separate Privacy Policy.
Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.
23. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes but is not limited to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable consequences of our breach of these terms or another applicable legal duty. We are not responsible for losses arising solely from a customer's failure to follow reasonable product care instructions, provided this does not exclude liability that we cannot legally avoid.
Where a product is purchased for personal use, we will not seek to exclude or restrict consumer rights that apply to that purchase.
24. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
Events outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect production, dispatch or delivery. Include but is not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, significant transport disruption, interruptions to essential services or other exceptional events.
If such an event affects an order, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and explain the expected impact. We will not rely on this section to avoid any legal obligation to provide a refund, allow cancellation or offer another remedy where the law requires it.
25. Complaints and Customer Support
We want customers to have a positive experience when purchasing from Resin & Beyond Studio. If you have a question, concern or complaint about a product or order, please contact us.
Email: resin.beyond.studio@hotmail.com
Facebook: Resin & Beyond Studio
Please include your order number and a description of the issue so that we can assist you. We will make reasonable efforts to respond as soon as possible and work towards a fair resolution.
If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may have access to independent advice or other dispute-resolution options available under applicable law.
26. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business, products, website arrangements or legal requirements. The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.
The version applicable to an individual order will generally be the version that applied when the order was placed, unless a change is required by law or otherwise lawfully agreed.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that a customer has already acquired.
27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply to a customer's circumstances.
Consumers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction may have additional protections or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded by these terms.
Nothing in this section removes any right a consumer has to bring proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
28.Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Any invalid provision will be interpreted or adjusted only to the extent legally necessary, where possible, to give effect to the original intention without undermining applicable consumer rights.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the relevant product listing, order confirmation and applicable policies published on our website, form the contractual terms governing the relevant purchase.
Where a specific term in an order confirmation or agreed product specification differs from a general description on the website, the applicable agreed terms will be considered alongside these Terms & Conditions and the requirements of consumer law.
Nothing in this section excludes rights or remedies that arise under applicable legislation.
